A brand new role working for a growing Asset Management firm. This is a real opportunity to set the content tone in Social Media/Web for this top-tier, progressive, asset management house.

Role Profile

The Global Digital team is responsible for broadening the brand, growing digital engagement, and prospecting & servicing clients across all of our digital channels (inbound and outbound) around the world. We are strategic partners with our peers in the sales organization and portfolio management, and we collaborate with them to create marketing campaigns targeted at specific segments of our audience.

The European Content Management Associate will be responsible for executing European website initiatives and coordinating, writing and updating European social media accounts, writing digital content for web and email, and maintaining and improving Search Engine Optimization (SEO) by implementing keyword priorities into content marketing. Working closely with the Global Digital and Editorial teams and reporting to the Global Head of Digital, the European Content Management Associate will be responsible for meeting production, process, and compliance requirements. In addition, the European Content Management Associate will collaborate with our partners around to world to ensure global standards and processes.

Core responsibilities:

  • Using Tridion (our content management system): update/maintain content on a multi-country website with time sensitive materials
  • Coordinate with sales, operations, and marketers to determine website needs
  • Advise local partners on best practices for leveraging digital infrastructure
  • Establish website publishing calendar for 20+ countries and ensure deadlines are met
  • Manage process flow and assets of campaign landing pages
  • Understand and maintain branding and content standards
  • Align with social media strategy and tactical goals set by global digital team
  • Maintain a cohesive brand across all European social media channels to increase awareness
  • Coordinate with PR and marketers to determine social media needs
  • Maintain social media content calendar for each account
  • Integrate Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques for web and social
  • Manage compliance approvals for website and social media content
  • Develop content for all digital channels in including social, web and email
  • Work very closely with the Global Head of Digital (located in NYC)
  • Work with other team to ensure deadlines are met
  • Understand and maintain branding and content standards
  • Work with internal design and editorial groups on development website & social media assets
  • Advise on social media policy
  • Develop and continually improve processes

Key Skills:

  • Using SDL Tridion or a similar enterprise level CMS
  • Experience with social media account management (and LinkedIn campaign manager)
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to write social media & short web content (preferably for Finance and B2B businesses)
  • HTML/CSS knowledge
  • Understanding of SEO and keyword research
  • Understanding of social media & web best practices
  • Strong knowledge + technical understanding of social media networking channels
  • Strong presentation skills, ability to evangelize for social media
  • Ability to identify target audience preferences and trends
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment and effectively prioritize
  • Accurate, thorough, with strong attention to detail

Desired Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, business communications or related degree
  • 3+ years professional experience managing digital content (web and/or social)
  • Experience in Asset Management industry is a plus
