Operations Analyst (Hedge Fund)

twentyAI has partnered with a boutique venture capital fund that excels as a leading algorithmic trading firm. They are seeking a highly skilled Operations Analyst to join their dynamic team that have previous experience in the buy side / banking that can bring strong product knowledge to the table. This role will play a crucial part in post-trade/settlement risk management, treasury functions, and liaising with prime brokers.

Responsibilities

• Perform trade support duties, such as conducting daily reconciliations of cash, positions, and trading activity.
• Liaise with prime brokers and various stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
• Develop and maintain automated processes using Python for data manipulation and task automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize trading operations.
• Continuously improve operational efficiency through process enhancements and automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in operations within the financial industry, preferably in a quant trading or banking environment.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and data manipulation tasks.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Prior experience with post-trade/settlement processes and liaising with prime brokers
