My client, a top bank in London, are looking for a Relationship Director to join their growing and highly successful coverage team. You will have responsibility for maintaining and building a portfolio of mid-large corporate clients with a turnover from around £100 million to £1 billion.

The job:

  • Actively propspecting corporate clients in the UK to build a successful portfolio 
  • Managing relationships and providing exceptional service, selling them cash management, trade, FX, amongst other products
  • Adherence to global KYC
  • Focus on mid-large cap corporates in the UK
  • Interaction with risk, and product teams
  • Influencing the sales process by applying knowledge
  • Provide strong leadership to more junior members of the team

Required knowledge:

  • Experience in the acquisition of relationships
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of mid-large cap clients in the UK
  • Experience as a Relationship Director at either VP or Director level at another bank in the UK
  • Strong credit skills
  • Strong understanding of banking products for mid-large cap clients
  • International experience desired but not essential
  • Excellent time management
  • Strong focus on delivery
  • Well organised
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellemt communication skills
  • Understandiing of onboarding process
  • Team player
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
