Leading Financial Services Institution requires a Security Architect, with recent hands on Engineering skills, to assist with moving a core application to the Azure public cloud platform. You will assist with mobilising this plan, by designing and planning for a technical proof of concept.

To produce a high level Design Document, you will undertake discovery and requirements gathering of current state documentation, interview SMEs and stakeholders to collect use cases and requirements (App Dev, Security Architecture, Operations, Azure Engineering, CISO) and collate, de-duplicate and prioritise requirements in standard format.  You will also perform technical research & development, within an Azure sandpit subscription and perform final stakeholder reviews of documentation and drive Solution Architecture Design through the necessary approval processes.

 

You will have experience with Azure (particularly Application Gateway / Web Application Firewall), Internet Facing Application / DMZ design and implementation and Layer 4/7 security devices.  You need to be comfortable gathering requirements from stakeholders and be able to write a formal solution architecture document.  Ideally you will have some Infra-as-Code experience (e.g. Terraform).  This is a fixed term contract role for 6 months.  Located in London.
