Senior Java Engineer
Company / Job Summary: Senior Java Engineer wanted for this expanding fintech to head up a small engineering team in their London office. Their product - an innovative subscription and billing platform - is used by some of the biggest software firms across the UK and North America.
If you have a proven track record of building large-scale applications and experience of team leadership, this could be your next role.
The Role: This opportunity will give you the chance to have a direct and significant impact on the platform. This is a customer-facing role and would suit someone who comes from a background of delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will be building large-scale Java/Kotlin/Javascript applications and designing the APIs that power them.
Requirements: - 4+ years' experience, significant Java experience essential
- Very strong HTML, CSS and Javascript knowledge
- RESTful APIs design experience
- Strong academic background (from leading university) in Computer Science, or other quantitative discipline
- Outstanding communication skills, self-motivated and ambitious
- Experience with React, Angular or Vue is a bonus
