Senior Solutions Architect Manager
DESCRIPTION Location: This role can be based in any EMEA country with AWS offices, either working from home or office-based.
Do you enjoy leading, hiring, coaching and developing Solutions Architects working with cloud technologies and latest in domains like artificial intelligence, machine learning, real-time data streaming and database analytics? Do you relish the idea of assisting Solutions Architects in your team as they help customers build productivity applications for their businesses? Do you have experience with customer experience, contact center, remote desktop, or digital workplace technologies?
In this role, you will have the opportunity to enhance your own knowledge around our productivity applications such as Amazon Connect, Amazon WorkSpaces, and Amazon AppStream 2.0. Furthermore, you will be able to bring or develop your management experience to help Solutions Architects in your team guide enterprise customers across EMEA.
As a Solutions Architect Manager, you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy for our productivity applications such as Amazon Connect, Amazon WorkSpaces, and Amazon AppStream 2.0. You will lead a great team of productivity applications Specialist Solutions Architects and you will hire more team members so that your team can innovate, develop and scale architectural best practices with our customers and partners.
To do this, you will also work with customers in a player-manager capacity, and you will help enable the wider community to adopt the AWS portfolio of productivity applications. You will be hands-on and detail-oriented, and you will have a passion for innovation, ability to deal with ambiguity as well as an ability to scale and influence broadly.
Inside AWS, you will be a customer ambassador. You will articulate customer needs by synthesizing your observations from customer engagements and market trends around customer experience workloads to inform the roadmap of AWS features.
You will also be a thought leaders in AWS technology and industry trends, helping your team create and share best practices through white papers, code samples, workshops, user groups and blog posts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS You have the following qualifications and competences:
• Background in any of the following: (1) Digital Workplace, (2) Virtual Desktop, (3) Customer Experience, or (4) Omnichannel Contact Center technologies.
• Experience managing and developing technical teams.
• Experience with cloud technologies including relevant industry certifications
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
• Fluent in English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS One or more of the following qualifications are desired but not required:
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional
• Technical degree (Math, Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or similar)
