An exciting new position has opened up at a leading hedge fund to take on a varied role including executing high value trades, reinvesting cash, managing collateral, hedging, and deputising for the Head of Treasury.

Responsibilities

Daily cash management of the Clients Fixed Income and Equity accounts and managing the currency balances using FX swaps to efficiently reduce funding costs.
Collateral management of the Futures and Swaps clearing accounts ensuring sufficient funding of initial and variation margin.
Experience of margin calls across clearers, pb's and bilateral
Oversight of clients fx positioning in regards to settlement dates
Assist with investing of unencumbered capital
Hedging of PnL and various share classes
Hedging of subscription and redemptions and currency switches
Management and performance fees hedging
Reviewing all processes to seek improvements and efficiencies
Repo financing and locating repo borrows for European and UK government bond markets.

This role would be a great fit for anyone with demonstrable experience on a fast paced treasury desk with exposure to trading, fixed income products, and ideally some collateral management from either a hedge fund, investment manager, or bank.
