The development teams work in predominantly in the London offices and you'll be working closely with them and the dealing desk who'll be setting our business goals.

What you'll do

Expect to be immediately challenged by the number and scale of technical and business changes that we're looking to make in the Pricing systems.

You'll be engaging with development teams throughout the project lifecycle from inception to delivery. Identifying and developing strategies for longer term renovation. Liaising with business experts and the development teams to determine and refine solutions. Working with peers to ensure integration and conformance with related architectural policies and strategies.

Who you'll be

We're looking for someone with experience in low latency, high throughput and high availability systems developed in C++ and running on Linux.

Experience with building Architecture capabilities within a development department.

You'll have a genuine interest in the full development lifecycle experience and using an agile methodology such as Scrum and automation to improve team dynamics and performance.

Communication and collaboration will be key strengths for a successful applicant.

Experience with high performance messaging technology, ideally Reuters TREP/UPA would be beneficial.
