My client is a leading UK Investment Bank hiring in their central Risk, Finance and Treasury COO that is responsible for delivering a simplified and standardised architecture across RFT, using the latest technologies to achieve a a robust end-to-end control environment and prepare for the bank future change. They are looking to bring on multiple Business Data Analysts to join a strategic implementation programme with a variety of different workstreams, to assist in transforming data and processes across their front to back operations.

Responsibilities in the role include:
- Work closely with the stream Business Analysts to understand business requirements and how they translate into system, data and process change.
- Identify points of data overlap and contention across the various streams, and use this to formulate a sensible sequencing of change.
- Partner with CIOs and Architects to design solutions that meet business requirements.
- Understand the roadmap to Strategically Source data and perform comparisons between Legacy and Target data sources, to ensure they reconcile or differences are understood and substantiated or remediated.
- Other Data focuses include Data Quality, Data Controls, Data Lineage and sourcing from designated Authoritative Sources.
- Be part of a team of SMEs that are ‘go to’ experts for key data related focuses both front-to-back, and across product.
Experience, Skills and Competencies required:
- 4-12 years Business Analysis experience in Investment Banking across front to back operations
- Financial Product knowledge (Macros, Rates, Equities, FX, etc)
- Experience working on data driven projects
- Understanding of front to back Investment Banking systems (eg Risk systems/Trade Capture systems)
- Ability to perform SQL queries would be advantageous
- Strong stakeholder management skills
