We are looking for a Senior Strategic Sales Manager who has extensive experience in driving new revenue by managing relationships at C-Level focusing on the credit market.  

 

Virtus Services and Background

Virtus was founded in 2005 by former JP Morgan Chase executives who believed that a combination of technology and expertise could result in significant advances in the Collateral Administration space. It was acquired by FIS in Jan 2020. 

 

These differentiating factors have led Virtus to grow to over 450 employees spanning 6 locations across the globe and serving over 400 billion in assets under administration.

 

Virtus is the only firm today who has fully integrated front, middle and back-office solutions for credit managers.  From monitoring assets in the front office, to passing that information to the middle office where the trade is received, Virtus is unique in offering its clients an automated system flowing both directions in the life cycle of a trade.

 

About the team

You will be joining a European Sales Team operating out of London, focusing on credit managers who are active in CLOs market, Structured Credit Market, Syndicated loans, Private Debt.   

 

What you will be doing

  • Selling a variety of innovative solutions to the credit space.   
  • Drive additional revenue and expansion of footprint across a couple of existing clients with the aim to increase our footprint.  
  • Leading and driving opportunities through the entire sales cycle such as campaigning for new business, presenting FIS, pricing, legal.  In addition, managing the sale cycle internally and support of Pre-Sales, Product Management, Finance, Legal and other internal stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the development of sales plans and strategies for your territory.
  • Proving regular feedback of market insight to the Business.
  • Manage C-Level conversations with key decisions makers.

 

What you bring

  • Ideal experience minimum five years selling or managing accounts in the Structured Credit Market, Syndicated loans, Private Debt, CLO’s.    Ideal experience is more around selling outsourcing and BPaaS services than just software. 
  • A proven track record of navigating though and closing deals.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience that enables you to navigate through this market.
  • A hunting, networking, and self-contained working mentality
  • Effective access and conversations with clients C-level / Senior Management
