Our client is a high caliber boutique alternatives investment manager with a strong track record looking for a new member of their sales / asset raising team to build out a German speaking Europe - DACH - investor base and raise assets from the region.

ur client is a high calibre boutique alternatives investment manager with strong track record. The firm manages north of $5bl AUM across hedge funds ( both Cayman and UCITS), Private markets (Private Equity, Private Debt, Real Assets, Real Estate, Infrastrcuture) and long only funds. 

The culture is driven by entrepreneurialism and curiosity. The founder and CIO fosters a flat structure where everyone’s ideas are openly considered and reviewed. The firm is privately owned and independent.  Everyone at the firm thinks beyond their role to help the business grow.

The fundraising team has a very collaborative approach and is highly team oriented. Members of the sales / marketing team are not micro managed; the firm looks for driven individuals and self-starters.

Having been successful in asset raising and attracting investors globally the firm is now looking for someone to come in and build out Germay, Austria and Switzerland. 

The ideal candidate will have an asset management / fund sales background or be part of an investor relations / client services team and ready to take a step up into a sales role. Candidates with a strong understanding of the financial services industry and sales skills from outside of these teams will also be considered (eg. Investment bank, private bank, financial software).

Native/ Fluent German is a big advantage but not necessary. We are looking for a highly hands on, driven individual who wants to build their career in an entrepreneurial firm where they can take on a lot of responsibility and ownership from day one.
