THE ROLE

 

The role is a key part of SVB’s growth strategy and broadening of Product Management capability. Role holder will be responsible for supporting the next phase of EMEA growth of digital based payments (Card and Virtual).  You will work with SVB’s internal teams and external partners to deliver market ready solutions, aligned to Client needs.

We are looking for an experienced Card Payment Product Manager, with the versatility to span a range of activities, ranging from dealing with complex technical products & third party ecosystem, through to support for presales and operational queries.

Responsibilities:

  • Support on executing product growth strategy and timeline
  • Project manage new feature and product introductions
  • Collaborate with development teams (internal & external partners), supporting implementation of new initiatives to launch and commercialisation
  • Write product document content and produce presales collateral 
  • Development of delivery model to ensure optimum customer journeys
  • Monitor and evaluate competitive landscape and external environment, to provide insights
  • Support management of Mastercard network compliance
  • Ensuring critical KPI’s are met, with corrective action plans where necessary

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Solid product management experience.
  • Card industry experience essential, including virtual payments
  • Knowledge & experience of Agile development methodologies
  • An ability to work independently in completing assigned duties.
  • Problem solver, with hands on, can do attitude.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education an advantage.
