Value Creation VP/Principal, PE Manager and Leader in the Acquisition of GP Stakes, London, UK

About our client

Our client is the Private Equity fund that pioneered the GP-stake strategy. Their existing investments include the best renowned blue chip private equity firms across the globe. A unique feature of our client's approach is its strong value creation team of 40+ professionals that provides strategic support on capital raising and AuM growth as well as business operations.

The firm is looking to bring on a motivated VP /Principal to join the London-based Value Creation team. You will work alongside the existing team with primary focus on capital raising and AuM growth across the EMEA region. You will advise some of the top GPs in the world on their fundraising strategies, providing in depth knowledge of the EMEA investor base and formulating and sharing the industry's best practices and thought-leadership papers.

You will be expected to have strong relationship management skills as well as a solid understanding of the private equity industry. There will be an element of travel involved in this role. What the job involves

• Take ownership of LP relations across the EMEA region adopting an existing network of investors and subsequently, expanding this further as required
• Advise some of the top GPs in the world on their fundraising strategies, providing in depth knowledge of the EMEA investor base
• Formulate and share the industry's best practices and thought-leadership papers
• Create and build roadshows across Europe and the Middle East
• Produce market investor maps and other relevant materials

Who we are looking for

• Relevant financial experience in Investor Relations, Fundraising, Placement Agent, Consulting or from an LP background
• Good knowledge of private markets strategies
• Excellent English languages skills both spoken and written. Additional languages would be a plus
• A self starter with an ability to drive projects and work effectively in an entrepreneurial, hands-on environment
• Strong relationship management skills, able to build rapport with internal stakeholders and external investors and clients
• Willingness to travel as required
