Yardi System Owner - Global Real Estate - London

The Role

You will act as the lynchpin between the business and IT to make sure user and business needs are understood and translated into effective solutions. As the Yardi System Product Owner you'll be the key contact and business lead for development and all ongoing maintenance.

Open-minded, self-starting, pro-active and familiar with lean methods, you will have a passion for digital and a desire to provide the best end user services through knowledge of a range of online techniques and disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the ongoing development of the Yardi product roadmap (to be defined) in collaboration with key business, propositions and IT stakeholders.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with Transformation, Business stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts, and the IT team to deliver the product roadmap.
  • Assume the role of 'System Owner' for all change affecting Yardi within an Agile/Scrum delivery environment. Responsible for developing product roadmaps and epics/user stories to drive the IT development effort.
  • Develop product strategies in collaboration with key business, propositions and IT stakeholders.
  • As The System Owner you will be an advocate for significant change and impact, making a substantial difference to the success of a team.
  • You'll be responsible for conveying the vision and functional elements necessary to deliver the strategy and goals for Yardi
  • Continual oversight of ongoing system support and development
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to develop a distinct product vision and strategy
  • Produce and manage coherent Road Maps that can be used to plan and assess the impact of change
  • You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and document business requirements using epics/stories to help meet the business goals
  • Monitor our products/services to ensure high levels of quality
  • Keep abreast of product management best practices; Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Critical need for the delivery of consistent high quality data, so that Yardi can be used as the single source of truth at any given time.

Requirements

Essential

  • Experience of working within an agile environment, you'll possess a toolkit of agile development and management techniques.
  • As a Product Owner you'll have experience writing epics and user stories to direct the product software development effort.
  • Ability to translate semi-technical information into usable and actionable information for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in successfully delivering products and projects.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to foster an innovative and proactive working culture via strong leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo
  • A thorough understanding of the Agile approach and Scrum methodology;
