 Here’s what you’ll do:  

Under general supervision, the Operations Specialist II performs a variety of clerical functions in support of the Bank’s transaction processing and client service activities. These functions may include those supported by the Operations Specialist I as well as those requiring more independent judgement.  

Essential Job Duties    

  • Process non-post exception items  
  • Balance daily official items  
  • Signature review and OFAC verification of official items  
  • Customer Service and Support  
  • Opening and call-back of certificates of deposit  
  • IRA account maintenance and processing  
  • Cash Handling- Reconciliation and Adjustments  
  • Wire Transfer processing and balancing  
  • ACH return items  
  • ATM balancing and reconcilement  
  • Processing of foreign and domestic collections  
  • ACH research  
  • Regulation E claims processing  
  • Processing and Verifying Wires  
  • Verifying the outgoing wire log  
  • Client inquiries related to department functions, including ACH, Wire, posted transactions, check adjustments  
  • Debit card processing  
  • Reconcilement of all control g/l’s; research and correct processing errors  
  • Notify branches of large dollar check returns; process/pay returned items  
  • Processing Legal processes, levies, subpoenas  
  • Quoting rates and processing foreign currency wires  
  • Unclaimed property reconcilement and reporting  
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.    

What you need for this position:  

Job Qualifications   

  • 4 years’ experience in Banking Operations  
  • Knowledge of banking regulations that affect the areas of responsibility  
  • EFT, IRA, and ACH processing experience preferred  
  • FIS/ Metavante core knowledge preferred  
  • Legal Process regulations and processing knowledge a plus  
  • BIC/Crystal Reports experience a plus
