Citi is seeking a passionate, strategic and innovative individual to drive cross-Product innovation and technology enhancements across the Citi / American Airlines AAdvantage portfolio of cobrand credit cards. This position will be responsible for:

  • Product Technology Enhancements
The Cross Product Innovation and Technologies Manager will collaborate closely with internal and external partners to identify new opportunities and innovations across product, channels, processes and other assets, and to facilitate tighter integration with and greater leverage of the AAdvantage program.  We seek a leader with a passion and track record for innovation and creative, out of the box thinking, with exceptional collaboration skills to build upon one of the oldest and most successful partnerships in the financial services industries. 

Key Responsibilities
The Citi / AAdvantage Cross Product Innovation and Technologies manager's responsibilities include:
  • Lead Product Research Efforts and Partnerships to support exploration of ongoing enhancement opportunities (Short Term and Long Term)
  • Work with Partner, New Product Development team, Mastercard or other vendors to identify and develop potential enhancements
  • Partner with Product Management, Decision Management and Finance Teams to define business case for planned enhancements, incremental analyses, and ongoing performance tracking
  • Serve as Product Team lead on key business enhancement projects to define technical requirements and ensure prioritization
  • Represent business team on project calls and ensure requirements are being documented appropriately and that key deliverables are being met; make sure product owners are aware of key decisions requiring their input and impacts
  • Identify and track key work streams and activities inside and outside of formal enhancement project; ensuring overall business project plan is up-to-date
  • Manage regulatory due diligence requirements and deliverables where required
  • Partner with Product and Marketing teams to define go-to-market strategies and enhancements; partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure strategies and marketing language are approved
  • Ability to work independently, with strong follow through and capable of owning and managing projects from end-to-end
  • Lead Updates to Senior Management on efforts
  • Oversee Cross Product Innovation & Technologies budget as part of the overall Co-Brand Product Marketing Budget
  • Support other CPIT members on other enhancement projects


Qualifications

Qualifications
  • 5+ years consulting, management or marketing experience
  • Ability to work independently, with strong follow through and capable of owning and managing projects from end-to-end
  • Strong relationship management skills and experience with partners/clients
  • Experience leading consumer research efforts and leveraging insights to inform business strategies
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally within an organization to accomplish objectives
  • Detailed oriented, proactive, strategic thinker with strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Project management and New Product Development experience preferred
  • Bachelor degree required; Masters/MBA degree preferred
