  • The Manager Assistant will provide high quality administrative support to a team of five Managers and help them be more productive by taking on diverse administrative tasks, including meeting and calendar management, coordination and arrangement of travel schedules, weekly and monthly time and expense reporting, graphic presentations and other related duties as required. Provide occasional support for consultant teams. Work with other Executive and Manager Assistants in a team environment to provide high-level support/coverage possible for Bain’s management staff.

    • Coordinate and schedule manager calendar to include internal and client meetings and events.
    • Coordinate and schedule client and case team meetings and related functions to include:
      • Conference room scheduling
      • Set up meeting space with equipment and ordering meals as required
    • Interface with clients and case team members
    • Coordinate all travel arrangements for managers including air, hotel, ground transportation and meal reservations
    • Compile and submit time and expense reports, resolve all discrepancies and reconcile manager Amex charges
    • Receive incoming calls rolled over from managers’ lines
    • Type and proof all correspondence
    • Assist managers with non-consulting internal assignments
    • Organize and maintain case team and manager files
    • Assist teams with data collection, research and analysis as appropriate
    • Provide basic slide production support for managers (slides under 15 minutes)
    • Work as a team with Graphics group to meet client deadlines to include copying, organizing and distributing presentation materials for manager’s case teams
    • Support/cover for other MAs when necessary
    • Perform other related duties as requested or as responsibilities dictate

    • Degree preferred with 1-2 years administrative experience in similar role
    • Computer literacy - aptitude for presentation graphics software preferable
      (PowerPoint for Windows a plus, Word Processing experience a plus)
    • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
    • Ability to work as a team member and meet constant deadlines
    • Availability to work overtime without prior notice
