Capgemini America, Inc.has multiple openings for the position of ProjectManager 4 based out of its Chicago,IL U.S. headquarters. The employee may also work at various unanticipatedlocations. S/he will perform the following duties: responsible for the project plan, budget,structure, schedule and staffing requirements for the delivery organization;lead either a large project or a definable segment of a very large and complexproject; oversee various streams or activities to achieve a desired businessresult, planned profitability levels, quality standards and highest-levelclient satisfaction; responsible for translation of client's complex businessrequirements into formal agreements; establish specific solutions, applicationsor processes which ultimately culminate in customer acceptance of the results;work with client team members and executives to identify business requirementsand subsequently working with, and leading others, in the initiating, planning,controlling, executing and closing the client's solution; and responsible for awide range of process activities, including request for proposal, development,and final delivery.
Thisposition requires a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in BusinessAdministration, Finance, HR, Economics, Computer Science, ComputerApplications, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering (any),or closely related field plus at least 7 years of progressively-responsible,post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, as Program Manager,Engagement Manager, or related IT position. The applicant must also haveprofessional experience with: any period of experience overseeing projectoperations including project planning, organizing, staffing, forecasting, andproject financial management; any period of experience overseeing all aspectsof system implementation, including requirements gathering, future statesolution design, development of objects related to their process scope, andtesting and post implementation support; any period of experience performinggap analysis and strategic roadmap/blueprint development of project planning;any period of experience performing full life cycle project implementations;any period of experience guiding team of resources, including Consultants orVendors; any period of experience with project management tools, including MSProject or Clarity; and any period of experience providing guidance to internalor external stakeholders.
