The Associate, Application Support is responsible for maintaining and supporting the Santander production applications environment. Specifically the ServiceNow application customer model that was a custom build to business specifications that is used by all Santander Entities for Data Quality. In addition, s/he responds to alerts and escalations, completes technical documentation, and independently supports/configures complex systems.Responsibilities:
Building out the data transmissions for +25 programs expected. Data requirements for SIT, UAT and GO Live
Overall management and support to Santander for ServiceNow
Security Content development and maintenance, Service Catalogue Module, Version Upgrades and testing for ServiceNow
Future support of the Transmission processes that are now built in ServiceNow
Conducts follow-up calls to clients, application groups and external vendors
Drives productivity, recommends improvements, remediation and operational excellence using quality methodologies to identify opportunities for improvement
Escalates unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams
Identifies reoccurring issues and determine the root cause, own the problem until resolution
Prioritizes and manage several open issues at one time
Provides support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
Stays current with system information, changes and updates
Master's degree in Mathematical sciences combined with Computer science for data management and analysis required.
3-5 years- experience dedicated ServiceNow support and development
3-5 years- experience with application support, support tools and processes
3-5 years- experience with monitoring and alerting platforms
3-5 years- experience writing and troubleshooting intermediate SQL queries and navigating large domain models
3-5 years hands-on experience with problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and client commitments concurrently
Ability to support maintenance and changes in ServiceNow
Must possess intrinsic knowledge supporting source data to Santander major programs
Data management includes: Santander data sources (+76), owners and complex processes (direct involvement for transmission and change management processes) supporting data transmissions and data sourcing that contributes to the daily submittals and review required for data transmissions.
Understanding of transmission tools and the decommission of the existing tools that will involve critical analysis of data and parallel process
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse technologies and techniques
Details include: data sourcing and lineage for Santander-s complex data sources and relationships with data owners, program teams and architects
Validating Source details: DDR reviews, copybook research and reference
Business analysis and project coordination for timely updates and progress
Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external customers
Excellent problem-solving, team, and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (i.e., executive, management, individual contributors)
Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles (i.e., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development)
Resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas
Solid understanding of network and internet technology concepts, including web server technologies, database technologies, Microsoft environments and Data center operations
Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources
Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking
