Senior Scala Developer

Standort: Waltham, MA, USA

We are seeking a Senior/Principal Software Engineer who has proven experience developing and supporting enterprise-class web applications using cutting edge back-end technologies. You will work on building a highly scalable webservices/apis back-end application using Scala, Spark, Yarn, Akka Http ecosystem. Candidate should have experience working in structured environments following Agile methodologies. Knowledge of Atlassian tools is a plus.
Candidate should have/expected to:
  • A thorough knowledge of functional programming, Spark, Scala, MongoDB, PostgreSQL.
  • Strong data structure, algorithm and problem solving skills
  • Proven track-record implementing technical best practices, libraries and architecture
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
  • Provide feedback on requirements from a technical perspective, and provide estimates for user stories and tasks.
  • TDD experience, including experience with testing frameworks (ScalaTest, ect) and Continuous Integration is a plus
