We Offer
You will be a business/data analyst in the Global Markets & IHC CDO Data Architecture team in Raleigh reporting to the GM & IHC CDO Data Architecture Lead/Project Manager in NY, primarily supporting the IHC Data Management Framework regulatory program specifically in the Data Architecture team which cover the following capabilities:
  • Data Sources both Approved and Strategic and overall logical data architecture
  • Business Lineage of documentation of new CDE's in IHC or existing CDE's in IHC Reg Reporting including upload and maintenance of lineage in Collibra
  • Tooling consisting of key enterprise wide applications supporting data management initiatives such as Collibra, IDQ, DQIM, Tableau, CATI, MARCS and EA SPARX

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Overall business analysis responsibilities for data architecture stream of IHC GM CDO that will primarily focus on supporting business lineage efforts in the IHC for all agreed Fed committed achievements
  • Work in collaboration with the existing IHC DA Business Lineage PM to ensure that all business lineage responsibilities meet expected delivery dates
  • You will work in collaboration with the GM & IHC CDO Functional Working Groups to define proper and detailed business lineage templates and ensure successful import of lineage contents in the enterprise wide tool Collibra for all tracks
  • You will be supporting other business analysis responsibilities for data architecture stream including data sources, tooling, logical data architecture that require BA support
  • Support of other data architecture mandates in Metadata Management and Metrics in adhoc situations when necessary

Additional responsibilities:
  • Ability to get along with all SME's (Subject Matter Experts) in Front to Back teams in Global Markets, Ref Data, Operations, Risk & Finance to support complete data lineage documentation templates
  • Ability to work with the Enterprise Data Tooling team (EDT) to provide lineage and other requirements necessary for Collibra data upload
  • Ability to multi-task numerous projects and/or requirements concurrently
  • Ability to communicate effectively and drive project meetings when necessary
  • Ability to complete any requirements documentation for various software release disciplines (both Agile and Waterfall)
  • Ability to produce both high level and detailed workflow diagrams when required and drive overall business analysis with interested parties
  • Ability to craft & comprehend pivot tables/formulas in MS Excel
  • Ability to support various PMO job functions including maintenance of project status reports, RAID's and financial/budget requests
  • Ability to build solid rapports with all key Global Markets & IHC CDO teams
  • Ability to work under strenuous schedules when necessary (e.g. greater than 8 hrs)
  • Ability to meet time sensitive deadlines largely determined by GM & IHC CDO management

Key Qualifications and/or other requirements:
  • You have minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a business analyst capacity in supporting a front to back project environment (IB Technology programs preferred)
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in the Investment Banking Industry (Investment Banking Technology preferred)
  • You have deep understanding of the front to back trade lifecycle of derivatives processing
  • Previous experience in working in a FO, Risk or Finance Department (GM IT, Product/Financial Control IT, Credit and Market Risk IT)
  • Basic understanding of GM Technology systems both Trade & Risk Management
  • Do you have experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies?
  • Do you have experience in maintaining project budgets/financials?
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral- lead/drive meetings when required
  • Good time management skills and proven ability in meeting deadlines and working in a pressurized technology team facing high pressure and results-driven team environment
  • Deep knowledge and strong literacy in Microsoft Excel & Project and MS Visio, good literacy in PowerPoint
  • Deep understanding of OnePPM financial tool
  • Accurate and concise work that meets desired timeframes
