Associate, Software Engineering
Duties: Design and develop rich intranet applications using JavaScript, JQuery, EXTJS, HTML 5, CSS3, AJAX, JSON, Backbone, Karma, Jasmine, Bootstrap, React JS and Angular. Develop highly configurable and responsive UI components. Transform/implement UX designs into working applications. Gather business requirements to onboard apps/data into CSW. Translate the business requirements into understandable UI/UX screens, prototypes and present them to various stake holders. Design and develop UI Dashboards for various Middle Office Teams. Design and program business logic using Java/J2ee/Spring/XML/Design Patterns. Lead efforts on Studio App which is a highly configurable configuration authoring tool. Develop and execute PL/SQL scripts needed for data manipulation. Develop and deploy UNIX Shell scripts needed for Jenkin Jobs. Manage pre- and post- release expectations and coordinate defect and change requests raised. Asses ambiguities and set direction based on agreed business and technology objectives. Communicate effectively between the various teams across the project. Automate functional tests using Selenium. Provide exceptional L3 Support for all CSW Applications.

Minimum education required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related field.

Minimum experience required: Two (2) years of experience in application development, or related experience.

* Skills required: Experience designing and developing Rich Intranet and responsive Web Applications. Experience developing configurable and customizable UI components using JQuery, JavaScript, EXTJS, HTML5, CSS3, Angular, React JS and JSON. Experience developing UI prototypes using Photoshop, Gimp, Paint, HTML, or CSS. Experience implementing business logic using Java, J2ee, and Spring. Experience writing PL/SQL queries and Scripts. Experience configuring and working with Jenkins, Jira, and GIT tools. Experience working with any modern Integrated Development Environment. Knowledge of Automation Test frameworks including Karma, Jasmine, and Selenium. Knowledge of ETF and basket creation methodologies. Experience with Agile Methodology. Experience developing and maintaining financial applications. Employer will accept any amount of professional experience with the required skills.
