RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Jersey City, NJ. Design and deploy Machine Learning models and AI (Artificial Intelligence) bots that train on historical telemetry and the topological graph to learn to automatically (a) detect issues using anomaly detection and (b) predict issues using predictive modeling and time-series analysis. Use statistical modeling and natural language processing to identify the most high-impacting failures and root causes and drive systematic fixes to the issues at their source, reducing the Firm's risk exposure. Work closely with the other team members to design, develop and roll out production grade ML models for transformative risk reduction. Use advanced machine learning techniques, computer science algorithms, and statistics to develop statistical models, which are used to reduce client-impacting delays, and engineer solutions that facilitate big data transformation and processing. Translate business problems into Machine Learning projects. Engage in constant monitoring of model performance to ensure delivery of the desired business impact, and effectively communicate the impact broadly at the firm. Identify potential issues in the production environment by analyzing various data sources like telemetry, incident tickets, and alerts, and design a plan to either avoid or mitigate the potential impact of the issue.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field. Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Must have three (3) years of experience with: Applying time-series forecasting, predictive modeling, anomaly detection, natural language processing, and computer science techniques to develop high-performance production-grade statistical models that operate on large datasets in real-time; Building engineering artifacts as part of the model development lifecycle, including engineering pipeline designs, model experiment designs, model performance assessments, model training code, model prediction code, test strategy, test plans, deployment plans, and adoption plans; Developing model code and test code in two or more of the following languages: R, Java, Python, Scala, C++ or Structured Query Language (SQL); and Designing and developing model risk controls that mitigate the financial or regulatory risk exposure of all deployed models.
