Asset Servicing

BNY Mellon Asset Servicing provides global solutionstailored to meet our clients' unique needs to help enhance the management,administration and oversight of their entire investment process and deliver thetools they need to expand their ability to process, monitor and measureinvestment data from around the world.



Responsibilities:


  • Provide superior software development servicesin a fast-paced and innovative working environment.

  • Work with internal business groups onimplementation opportunities, challenges, and requirements. Analyze informationand provide recommendations to address and resolve business and technicalissues. Actively participate in team discussions, provide guidance and expertopinion on the subject matter.

  • Coordinate coding, unit testing,implementation and documentation of solution. Ensure that expected applicationperformance levels are achieved. Comply with BNY Mellon's standard developmentmethodology

  • May allocate/ coordinate work within ateam/project. May be responsible for requirements gathering and BRD/FSDpreparation.

    RequiredDetails/Qualifications:



  • Experiencedin development with Java/J2EE Technologies.

  • Codingand troubleshooting experience on Web Services and RESTful API

  • Extensivehands-on knowledge of XML, XSD, XSLT, JSON.

  • StrongSQL skills (Oracle, MSSQL dialects)

  • Knowledgeor use of an IDE, such as Eclipse or IDEA

  • Knowledgeof Scrum and XP methodologies and ability to work in a fast paced and rapidlychanging environment.

  • Stronganalytical skills and attention to detail

  • Abilityto learn and pick up new skills

  • Abilityto perform with minimal management supervision

  • StrongCommunication Skills

  • Knowledgein Finance and Data Warehousing is a big plus.
