RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Jersey City, NJ. As part of the Architecture Group within Services Technology, the candidate would be responsible for driving the technical architecture for global applications that support the Corporate Services and Real Estate, Office of Global Security and Executive Office divisions of the Firm. Discuss solution requirements within the Architecture Group and design architectural solutions for on-going and future projects within the Services Technology space. Responsible for end-to-end systems development cycle, including requirements analysis, coding, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and maintenance of global firm-wide applications. Build systems and tools to support the Firm's corporates services applications, including Events and Travel financial allocation and reporting. Interact on a daily basis with business end users to develop technical specifications, design, test and implement solutions from business requirements. Work on a daily basis using tools like IntelliJ/Eclipse, Aqua Data, Putty, MS Outlook. Guide junior developers across multiple regions in their activities and track their progress on a regular basis.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or related position. Must have five (5) years of experience with: designing and developing applications using Java or a similar object-oriented programming modeling language; software design patterns; the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support; programming in the Linux, Unix, and Windows environments; Database Management Systems (DBMS), such as DB2; Web services using REST or SOAP methodologies; and partnering with functional business leads to understand requirements and communicate technical concepts. Must have three (3) years of experience with: leading or supervising junior team members in a technical capacity; working on a global software development team and communicating status/design effectively across multiple regions; enhancing and/or maintaining complex applications that have over 3000 lines of code; and working on multiple development projects concurrently, including experience with large-scale systems.
