I'm currently working with an upper middle market bank that is looking to aggressively grow their TMT M&A profile out New York City. This firm is known for having a strong culture of success as well as often competing with elite boutiques and bulge bracket investment banks on M&A transactions. They are currently looking to bring on a M&A Associate to cover TMT.

The M&A Associate will be responsible for working closing with senior bankers and supporting the deal team on primarily sell-side M&A transactions. Day-to-day, you'll lead projects, provide leadership to analyst, conduct client due diligence, research M&A business opportunities, and other tasks. This is an all-encompassing role where you'll touch all aspects of the M&A transaction process.

Responsibilities

Play a major role in origination and execution of sell-side M&A transactions.
Lead M&A transaction projects.
Lead and work with analyst on various projects.
Prepare and track financial models, documents, and due diligence efforts.
Be a resource to clients regarding recommendations and support.

Requirements:

3+ years of investment banking analyst or 1+ year(s) of investment banking associate experience.
Strong curiosity for the TMT industry (TMT experience preferred but not required).
Excellent technical ability (I.E financial modeling and valuations).
Strong communication skills to be able to interact with team members and external stakeholders.
