Reporting to the Manager, Fund Administration, the Analyst will be part of a growing team within the organization focused on the operational support of current and future private and public pooled vehicles advised and sub-advised by the firm. The candidate will assist in the implementation of future fund launches and the operational support process for each new pooled vehicle.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Facilitate investor on-boarding process in private pooled vehicles utilizing best in class process, a control oriented mindset and investor first mentality
  • Manage relationship of third-party service providers and vendors to ensure execution of duties to the highest standard. (Fund Administrators, Custodians, Transfer Agent, etc)
  • Assist in supporting a proprietary mutual fund series trust platform and improve process
  • Contribute to execution of key events including private and public fund launches
  • Assess and effectively manage all of the risks associated with the team’s and firm’s business objectives
  • Improve data collection and structuring, develop key performance indicators and capacity analysis for the team
  • Assist in the support model of yearly audits of funds, distribution of tax materials and quarterly mutual fund filings

EDUCATION/ACCREDITATION

  • Bachelor degree in business administration, accounting, finance or other related field

SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in fund operations and/or fund accounting
  • Previous experience coordinating project activity with internal teams and third party vendors a plus
  • Administration experience with pooled vehicle operations. Experience with private fund offering docs and 40 Act mutual fund prospectuses
  • Demonstrates energy and a desire to succeed; follows through on commitments; pushes self and others to deliver exceptional results
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Microsoft products
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
