Excelsior has been engaged exclusively to conduct a search for an innovative technology company expanding their North American operation. This unique career prospect presents the right professional with an opportunity to enter a rapidly-growing and innovative international AI company, as pioneers in the deployment of next-generation process automation solutions for pharmaceuticals utilising machine learning technologies. This international firm has considerable evidence of previous success, with 5 of the 15 leading global pharmaceutical companies as current clients and, following Series A investment, they’re taking their US operation to the next level.

Reporting direct to the Head of North America Sales, as a key member of the team you’ll:

  • Take on responsibility for the US life sciences vertical and sales pipeline, building on their US success to date, iterating and developing their life sciences sales strategy and approach for new use cases etc. 
  • Manage sales cycle effectively, leveraging a value selling approach to drive revenue and meet quotas.
  • Working alongside the US Marketing Manager and partner community develop and execute lead generation activities.
  • Ensure customers are successfully leveraging the company’s solutions, demonstrating new ways by which they can add value using products across their departments.

Appropriate candidates will have the following experience and characteristics:

  • Experience selling technology solutions to life science / pharmaceutical firms.
  • A demonstrable track record of sales success against quota.  
  • Exposure to artificial intelligence (AI), digital transformation or intelligent automation solutions beneficial but not required - so great opportunity to move into these areas of technology.
  • An articulate, consultative and confident sales approach conducive for selling to large pharmaceutical firms
  • The ability to pick up solutions which are new and unique in the market.
  • The personal motivation and ability to contribute to a dynamic and high growth entrepreneurial team culture!
