Compliance (CCRO) Technology: Delivery and Technical Lead for Employee Compliance, Information Barriers, and Regulatory Reporting as it goes through a dynamic and visionary period of change motivated by business, regulatory and disruptive industry digitalization trends - VP Level.

Technical and Architectural Leadership:
  • Lead a global developer team by example: Design Thinking/Proof of Value approach for software delivery; implementation of DevOps to optimize developer productivity; Agile; etc.
  • Unify Technology and Compliance strategies and align with Enterprise principles and standards.
  • Look out for exponential changing FinTech/RegTech disruptors and movements in the broader technology industry and internalize within our technology solutions.

Platform Transformation:
  • Define and execute a transformation agenda, collaborating closely with Compliance and Technology partners across the Firm.
  • Combine an innovative mindset with critical thinking abilities to motivate change and develop creative technology solutions with a solid focus on high value, sustainability, and quality.
  • Deliver on exceptional end-user experience through digitalization of platform, employing web- and mobile- capable solutions.
  • Develop a front-to-back technology platform using contemporary technologies and paradigms.
  • Pursue excellence to ensure portfolio investments are cohesive, scalable, and reusable using industry-leading paradigms such as micro services, responsive design, etc.

Stakeholder Management:
  • Develop and maintain trusted partners relationships across Compliance and the firm.
  • Lead regular strategy sessions and technical reviews with key partners and senior management.

Manage Human Capital:
  • Cultivate a culture of drive, innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Recruit, retain, encourage, motivate and develop staff.
  • Provide active support, mentoring and training for employee career development.
  • Ensure standard methodology with all HR procedures including performance management and promotion.

Technical and Architectural Leadership:
  • Define vision and unified target architecture for the Employee Compliance, Information Barriers, and Regulatory Reporting portfolio.
  • Adopt Agile SDLC and end-to-end DevOps (CI/CD) practices across the portfolio.
  • Hands-on technical direction across all applications in portfolio.

Platform Transformation:
  • Ensure all portfolio investment incorporates innovation, high value, sustainability and quality.
  • Deliver an extraordinary front-to-back digital customer experience, incorporating web- and mobile- capable technologies and paradigms.
  • Define platform roadmap, incorporating opportunities to demonstrate technological trends, e.g. eComm, Mobile, Robotics, Chatbots.

Stakeholder Management:
  • Cultivate a trusted and sought-after partnership with key stakeholders and senior management at the MD and DIR levels.
  • Partner with Compliance stakeholders on continuous Budget planning and agree on investment direction across portfolio.
  • Provide clarity and governance for portfolio reporting.

Manage Human Capital:
  • Identify and hire new talent, ensuring appropriate front-to-back developer skillset, and comfort with evolving technology stack.
  • Align with Firm resourcing/location strategy.
  • Develop training, innovation challenges, hackathons, etc. to motivate existing talent.

You Offer
  • You have a Degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline.
  • You bring 10+ years' of experience crafting and developing complex enterprise applications.
  • Object oriented design methodologies and patterns.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You show excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • You possess strong global team leadership and management skills.
  • Are you able to balance multiple concurrent deliverables; set and meet bold deadlines?

  • Areas of expertise or exposure to OS: Linux (RHEL), AIX, Windows, Mac OS, iOS, UI/Backend Technologies: ReactJS, React Native, HTML5, CSS, Java, Python, REST/JSON, Frameworks: Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, Middleware: Jetty, Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere, MQ, and CI/CD Tools: SVN, GitHub, Gradle, Maven, Ant, Jenkins/Bamboo, JIRA, Confluence, Fish Eye.
  • Some familiarity with ETL: Infomatica, concepts: Coherence Caching, Elastic Search, Blockchain, Agile and related SDLC methodologies and comfortable operating in a multi-functional team, design thinking, and behavior and test driven development.
