The Global Investment Research Digital Product Strategy and Management team at Goldman Sachs is responsible for delivering digital research products to our institutional client base. We design and build web platforms that provide access to Goldman Sachs content in highly scalable and creative ways. These tools transform and simplify client experiences while generating new revenue streams and business models for a leader in global financial markets. The product management group is a driven team, composed of talented and passionate product managers and designers who work with the engineers to change the expectations of institutional finance.

Product managers have tremendous responsibility in forming strategic vision for digital products, understanding user needs and behavior, and working with teams across the firm to execute on product plans. Our product managers are entrepreneurially-minded, working to solve complex business, technical, and design challenges to leverage Goldman Sachs' thought leadership and help drive transactions and business relationships.

We are looking for experienced product managers located in New York or London who can help define, evolve and lead the exciting initiatives on our roadmap.


  • Define product vision for the digital research platform and communicate that product vision to internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify market opportunities and build business case for new features, products, and revenue streams
  • Understand Goldman Sachs' strategic advantages and deliver products that are the best in the financial and technology industries
  • Monitor and keep abreast with industry trends and competitors to identify and respond to new opportunities based on market research, trends, customer feedback and requests, and market demand
  • Interact with clients both internally and externally to understand their needs and identify new opportunities
  • Prioritize potential initiatives by understanding alignment with business strategy and value generated for current and future users
  • Launch products in coordination with senior stakeholders, engineers, designers, marketing, sales, legal, compliance, operations, and support
  • Identify, collect, and analyze metrics to identifying solutions to drive product development measure product success
  • BA/BS in a technical field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of commercial experience working within product management of web and mobile applications
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Background or interest in financial markets
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong cross-functional and team-building skills with an ability to build positive and productive working relationships and foster creativity, innovation, and integrity within and across teams
  • MBA, MS, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience working as a product manager for a digital platform preferably in a research, news or related capacity including content authoring tools, definition and management of content taxonomies, search and entitlements/access
