IT Project Governance Analyst - PMO

JobDescription :
The S&P Global Ratings IT Chief of Staff and Program Management Office (PMO) is responsible for driving IT Project Governance, delivering Financial Measurement and Transparency, optimizing the IT Operating Model, addressing Information Security, Risk and Regulatory needs, delivering on the strategic workforce plan and executing our Talent Strategy.

The Project Governance Analyst is an integral part of the PMO team and will perform various responsibilities spanning all PMO objectives, and in alignment with technology and business strategies and initiatives.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and administer PMO Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool set, from end to end, including configuration, training and rollouts. Create User Stories and Mockups for eliciting ideas and as requirements for the development team
• Perform as UAT Lead for assigned PPM tool set and maintain user documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the assigned areas
• Perform scheduled and ad-hoc project portfolio tracking and reporting
• Participate in an integral role in large scale process and tool integrations
• Contribute content for roadmaps, deployment strategy, communications plan and training materials to ensure a smooth adoption of PPM tool set
• Partner with other stakeholders to continually identify and prioritize tool enhancements needed to maximize process benefits and support other initiatives
• Support project execution via the Agile Scrum methodology
• Obtain a deep understanding of the governance process and act as a mentor across all IT teams
• Work within the PMO team to contribute to the effective use of the Project Review Board (PRB), Centralized Project Prioritization (CPP) and Team Mapping processes
• Assist in development and enhancements to PMO Hub sitesRequired Qualifications:
• Bachelors or Master's degree in business, technology, engineering or related area
• 5+ years of related work experience, with increasing responsibility
• Experience in facilitating, leading, influencing, and managing within large-scale matrix, globally distributed organizations
• Proven experience administering any Project Portfolio Management tool (e.g., HP-PPM, Serena), agile scrum management tool (e.g. VSTS, Version One, etc.) and reporting tools
• Demonstrable experience leveraging any Data Visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView, Microstrategy) for reviewing and analyzing complex integrated project data and information to provide updates, insights, conclusions and actionable recommendations
• Strong understanding of an agile frameworkBehavioral skills / Attributes:
• Exceptional data analysis skills using Excel and other commonly available tools
• Proficiency to work on issues of diverse scope where analysis requires knowledge of underlying data and requires review of relevant factors
• Capacity to solve a range of routine to complex problems and determine possible solutions with minimal oversight
• Ability to successfully solve problems with general instruction on new work assignments
• Demonstrated effectiveness in building relationships to achieve tactical and strategic outcomes and operational objectives
