The Marquee team at Goldman Sachs is responsible for delivering digital products to our institutional client base. We design and build highly scalable web platforms that provide access to Goldman Sachs content, portfolio analytics, risk, and execution services. These tools help to transform and simplify client experiences while generating new revenue streams and business models for a leader in global financial markets. Marquee is a product driven team, composed of talented and passionate product managers, designers, and engineers working to change the expectation of institutional finance.

As a technical program manager in Marquee Engineering, you will be responsible for the execution of strategic priorities for the Marquee organization. By leveraging well-developed project management, risk management, and data analysis skills, you will ensure transparency and drive efficiencies for the delivery of technology products. A successful candidate will align the priorities and expectations of engineers, developers, stakeholders and senior management through clear communication, presentation and relationship management.

You will work in a diverse, energetic team of talented and experienced individuals, drawn from a mixture of financial and technological backgrounds. In addition to implementing solutions to client requirements, you will be a part of identifying new business opportunities and sources of revenue for Marquee products.


  • Define requirements (user stories, acceptance criteria) for platform infrastructure and tools
  • Build consensus & present strategy for platform initiatives within Marquee
  • Manage projects, application development and risks to drive delivery of Marquee Engineering roadmap
  • Define & measure SLDC KPIs; build reports for transparency and diagnosis
  • Work with engineers and stakeholders to resolve critical issues, exercising technical and product judgment
  • Manage relationships and book of work with external teams (Tech Risk, Compliance, Legal, technology dependencies, etc.)
  • Escalate risks and project delays to management and impacted stakeholders

Basic Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in managing technology programs, projects, teams
  • Ability to manage project budgets, resources and stakeholders
  • Acts with integrity - does what they say and delvers on commitments - in spite of obstacles
  • Experience working with Confluence, JIRA
  • Experience with Agile and Lead software development
  • Experience with consuming data from APIs - generating reports and KPI data
  • Technical background, experience working with web development teams
  • Fast learner, ability to navigate the organization to get up to speed quickly on key topics
  • Strong stakeholder/ relationship management, particularly with senior individuals
  • Organizationally aware - can build relationships with other stakeholders and understand and manage competing objectives
  • Strong communications skills - listening, written, and verbal ; able to put together commercial, creative presentations for management across a wide range of topics
