Sr. Principal Tech Strategist

Sr. Principal Technology Strategist->> Develops and provides technology direction for the business units supported. Defines and maintains an overall technology plan and development roadmap that will support the growth planned across the IT organization. Designs, performs and oversees a wide range of larger scale strategic projects, directing and formulating recommendations and obtaining stakeholder buy-in. Provides solutions to highly complex business problems for areas of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Utilizes comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of multiple areas within technology to consult with teams during the technical planning process and advise on technology and process decisions. Identifies important technology areas for development, and initiates the projects needed to drive the technology strategy. Keeps abreast of contemporary concepts in IT strategy and management and applies these to develop innovative business solutions and business transformation plans and roadmaps. Contributes to the achievement of Strategic Planning objectives.

Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred, 12+ years of related experience required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
