RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Dallas, TX. Technical developer within the Investment and Fund Accounting Controllers Technology team, responsible for developing technologies that support accounting calculations and workflows. Analyze, enhance and maintain a suite of technology solutions that support accounting calculations and workflows using Java, Sybase, SQL Server and Oracle databases and ReactJS enabled front-ends. Conduct all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including providing work estimates and raising critical project issues such as technical/project risks. Formulate software design and implementation following coding best practices and utilize Object-Oriented programming, design patterns and test-driven development concepts. Communicate ideas and issues clearly and concisely to non-technical users of the system. Guide and mentor junior developers in software development best practices.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or a related field. Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Three (3) years of experience with: Programming enterprise applications using Java including Generics, Multithreading, Collections, and Lambdas; Database schema design and query programming over relational databases such as SQL Server, DB2, Oracle, or similar; Object Relational Mapping framework such as Hibernate or similar; Developing dynamic web front-ends using modern JavaScript Frameworks such as ReactJS, AngularJS or similar; RESTful webservices development using Spring or Dropwizard frameworks; Creating java build configurations using Maven or Gradle; UnitTesting java code using Junit and mocking frameworks; and Working across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including engaging in requirements gathering, functional and technical design, user acceptance testing, release procedures, change request analysis and production support.
