Software Engineer - .Net Robotics

With CT, CT Robotics is a Center of Excellence (CoE) for Robotics Process Automation development enabling all Corporate Business Groups (Global Finance, Global Supplier Services, Human Resources, Firmwide Risk & Compliance, Reference Data, Treasury & CIO) and Cyber Security & Technology Controls (CTC) to deliver efficiency.
CT Robotics CoE seeks a strong technologist with 8 years of overall technology industry experience with an emphasis on process automation.

Responsibilities include:
  • Develop Application Level Understanding for the applications that are assigned
  • Business engagement and interactions for process understanding and requirements review
  • Detailed process evaluation & documentation standards
  • Develop Solution/Automation Design
  • Automation development adhering to design pattern and control guidelines
  • Collaborate with Ops SME for creation of test plan scripts, define validation criteria
  • Adhere to Automation Good Practices - review and provide suggestions to update the same
  • Provide Implementation and Post production Support for automations live in Production
  • Peer review of scripting done by fellow automation developers
  • Partner with other technology teams, business users, control and cyber security teams to ensure appropriate controls & security
  • Display efficient work style with attention to detail, organization, and strong sense of urgency


This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • 8 years of overall technology industry experience with an emphasis on process automation
  • Full stack developer with strong experience in ASP.NET, HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS, XML, Bootstrap, Angular, Modular JS frameworks, Web Services: WEBAPI, REST Services, Python, WCF, C# WPF, SOLID Design principles, VB.NET, and PowerShell
  • Strong in Oracle, MSSQL database development including PL/SQL and DBMS packages
  • Experience in Cloud and Micro services is a huge plus
  • Preferred experience in one of the Robotic process automation solutions such as Automation Anywhere, Softomotive WinAutomation/ProcessRobot, BluePrism, Workfusion, or UI Path
  • Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills
  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
  • Knowledge of industry wide technology strategies and best practices
  • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
  • Expertise in process evaluation
  • Strong logical and problem solving skills
  • Must be detailed oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge about technology design and architect skills
  • Strong in documentation, requirement gathering, and providing trainings
  • Testing Concepts & Methodologies
  • Requirement Analysis & Automated Test Case Creation.
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, ability to work independently
