RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Salt Lake City, UT. Project lead and developer for Investment Management Division (IMD) Technology responsible for designing and developing management and big data processing solutions for the Firm's Enterprise data lake and services leveraging the lake's ecosystem. Responsible for the Firm's data lake notification services, which allows data producers and consumers in the lake to configure rules which describe a desired state of data within the lake and to be notified when these rules evaluate to true; engage with the user community for feedback and direction, make architectural decisions about changes to the product, plan development sprints, and develop, test and deploy changes to the platform. Responsible for the Quantum Service Health Dashboard, which enables data consumers to gain access to health and performance metrices held within the lake's ecosystem; develop new algorithms to derive health-related key performance metrics; engage with user community to acquire feature requests; plan releases to implement feature requests and to resolve identified defects; develop these requests; test changes; and manage new version releases. Assist in the development of the data lake lens, which is the Firm's processing toolset for dataflows in the Enterprise data lake. Assist in the development of lake recon, which is the Firm's primary data reconciliation platform, in order to maintain the quality of IMD business data in the data lake. Assist in the development of lens dashboard, which is the Firm's primary mechanism for view the health of data ingestion, refinement, and materialization.

Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, an Engineering discipline, or a related degree and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, an Engineering discipline, or a related degree and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Must have three (3) years of experience with: developing service orientated architectures using Java 7+, including RESTful interfaces using the Jackson framework; Java test frameworks, including Junit and Mockito and experience with how test framework management, execution and output integrates with build environments including Jenkins and Edge; Structured Query Language (SQL); MongoDB; and Linux. Must have one (1) year of experience with: enterprise data lake, including experience with data ingestion, milestoning, validation, refinement and materialization; and Javascript, including AngularJS and React frameworks.
