RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Salt Lake City, UT. Serve as a technical expert for a large-scale virtualized desktop infrastructure/platform, supporting scalable delivery of applications and desktops to compute endpoints. Build tooling to deploy, configure and maintain large-scale installations of virtualized desktops and servers operating systems, middleware components, and platform security controls. Develop both high-level and detailed technical specifications, design, test, and implementation plans based on business and technical requirements. Ensure continuous patch, security and platform policy standards compliance. Interface with clients across all the Firm's federation and revenue divisions. Create and sustain scalable systems and services through automation and uplifts. Analyze and resolve cases escalated by Level 1 support teams. Engage platform vendors to report product issues, escalate, and drive resolution.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related field. Seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Must have seven (7) years of experience with: system administration and troubleshooting for Microsoft Windows server and desktop OSes, including some experience with 7/10/2008/2012/2016; managing enterprise-scale Windows server and desktop deployments across a combination of current and legacy platforms; and Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Firewall. Must have five (5) years of experience with: management of virtualized computer resources using VMWare and Hyper-V; PowerShell development and experience with software development lifecycle tooling, such as Subversion, JIRA, or similar; ensuring the security of endpoint compute nodes, such as virtualized desktops, via tooling including System Center Endpoint Protection; configuring and deploying Citrix Stack solutions (including Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop) in an enterprise environment; and security patch management, deployment and reporting via Windows Server Update Services and SQL Server Reporting Services. Must have three (3) years of experience with: application packaging and deployment to a virtualized desktop infrastructure and Windows configuration management via Active Directory Group Policy and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2012 R2 and 2016. Must have two (2) years of experience with load balancing technologies, such as Netscaler or F5 and Host certificate management and PKI infrastructure. Must be willing to provide on-call coverage outside of standard business hours on a rotating/as needed basis.
