RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Salt Lake City, UT. Perform multiple responsibilities for end-to-end systems development cycle from requirements analysis, coding, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and maintenance of financial applications, employing tools such as Junit and Mockito. Interface with the Firm's federation and revenue divisions, including Private Wealth Management (PWM) Business, PWM Operations and PWM Compliance teams. Translate business requirements into technical specifications, high level/detailed designs, and test and implementation plans. Build systems and tools to collect client and account reference data, perform validations on it, and store it safely. Use industry best practices to design and develop web service APIs using a RESTful architecture to allow for creating, reading, updating and deleting commands on PWM's client and account databases. Understand privacy data regulations and adopt industry best practices to safeguard personally identifiable information (PII).

Job Requirements: Master's or Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science; Information Systems, or a related field. Five (5) years of experience (with a Master's degree) or seven (7) years of experience (with a Bachelor's degree) in the job offered or in a related role. Must have five years of experience (with Masters) or seven years of experience (with Bachelor's) with Object-Oriented Application Development in Java and/or .Net. Must have three (3) years of experience with: dependency injection with Spring and object relational mapping using Hibernate; managing the day-to-day implementation details of large scale financial application development; writing RESTful web services; working with financial systems and data throughout the Software Development lifecycle, including experience translating business requirements into technical specifications; Relational Databases, such as Sybase or MySQL; and writing unit tests for Java code using technologies such as Junit or Mockito.
