Our client, is an international mid-market, Restructuring, Capital Raising and M&A Advisory company. They are publicly listed and have one of the strongest track records internationally. They are currently looking for an internationally educated Senior Analyst/Junior Associate.

Our client, is an international mid-market, Restructuring, Capital Raising and M&A Advisory company. They are publicly listed and have one of the strongest track records internationally. They are currently looking for an internationally educated Senior Analyst/Junior Associate. 

Role

  • Carry out the execution of restructing, M&A and investment banking transactions
  • Dynamically participate in performing commercial, legal and financial due diligence
  • Assist in the implementation of agreed post acquisition initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Carry out competitive and valuation analysis for investment opportunities at different stages like: deal screening, due diligence and deal structuring
  • Carry out extensive independent work in the development and preparation of financial models
  • Prepares financial models, management reviews, industry overviews, expected return scenarios, and presents findings to partners
  • Responsible for developing periodic report s on the performance of portfolio companies to the senior management.
  • Prepare all required materials for obtaining internal approvals in relation to the IB transactions 
  • Draft situation analyses, pitch materials, information memoranda, investor presentations and term sheets. Contribute to the development and communication of proposals and advice to current and prospective Clients
  • Assist in management and monitoring of financial and operational performance of existing investments and standard reporting in the form of presentations or reports to Sponsors/VP/Investment partners
  • Ensure quality end products for the Clients

Skills

  • Self-starter who will be expected to rapidly develop investment, due diligence and transaction skills
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation and communication skills
  • Business analysis, transaction or project management skills
  • Strong quantitative and conceptual analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of applied investment and valuation analysis of companies

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics from a top-tier university
  • Total of 3-5 years of experience in M&A
  • Internationally recognised finance qualification (CFA, ACA, etc)
  • Strong working knowledge on Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Track record of personal accomplishments
