Site Reliability Engineers – Multiple Roles | Sydney, Australia | Relocation Available

We’re currently hiring across multiple Site Reliability Engineering positions with leading quantitative trading firms in Sydney.

These opportunities suit hands-on SREs who enjoy working across production infrastructure, automation, reliability and complex technical environments. While the exact focus differs between teams, the roles combine software engineering with ownership of highly available production systems.

The Opportunities

We’re hiring across several SRE teams covering areas such as:

1. Core Site Reliability Engineering
2. Trading Infrastructure SRE
3. Data Infrastructure SRE
4. Platform Reliability Engineering
5. Infrastructure Automation & Reliability

Depending on the team, you could be working across Linux infrastructure, Kubernetes, cloud and on-prem environments, distributed systems, data platforms, observability and production automation.

What We’re Looking For

Across the opportunities, we’re interested in engineers with experience across:

1. Linux systems and production environments
2. Python, Go or another programming/scripting language
3. Kubernetes and containerised infrastructure
4. Cloud and/or on-prem infrastructure
5. Infrastructure automation and configuration management
6. Monitoring, observability and alerting
7. Networking and distributed systems
8. Incident response, troubleshooting and reliability engineering

Experience with technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Kafka, ClickHouse, Prometheus, Grafana and OpenTelemetry will be valuable depending on the team.

Why Consider These Roles?

These are opportunities to work in highly technical quantitative trading environments where reliability, automation and engineering quality are critical.

Prior trading experience is not essential across all of the opportunities, and we’re interested in SREs coming from technology, financial services and other large-scale production environments.

Relocation and visa sponsorship are available for candidates with Investment banking or previous trading experience.
