Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Institutional Investor Coverage

• Build and manage relationships with institutional investors including:
  • Asset Management Firms
  • Insurance Companies
  • Banks
  • Private Banks
  • Hedge Funds
  • Sovereign Wealth Funds
  • Family Offices
• Drive client engagement and increase wallet share across existing accounts.
• Identify and onboard new investors across Asia-Pacific and offshore markets.

Credit Product Distribution

Lead the distribution and marketing of:

• Offshore Bonds
• Investment Grade Credit
• High Yield Credit
• Asian Credit Products
• Greater China Credit Opportunities
• Primary Bond Issuances
• Secondary Market Credit Trading Opportunities
• Structured Financing Solutions
• Asset-backed and securitized products where relevant

Business Development

• Formulate and execute sales strategies to enhance the firm's credit franchise.
• Drive primary and secondary market revenues.
• Expand the firm's institutional investor network across key markets.
• Contribute to the development of new credit investment solutions and cross-border opportunities.

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop the Credit Sales team.
• Establish business targets and monitor performance.
• Foster collaboration across Sales, Trading, Research and Investment Banking teams.

Market Intelligence

• Monitor credit market developments, policy changes and investor sentiment.
• Provide market colour and investment ideas to clients.
• Deliver feedback from investors to DCM, Trading and Origination teams.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related disciplines.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in Credit Sales, Fixed Income Sales, DCM Distribution or Institutional Fixed Income Coverage.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Investment Grade Bonds
  • High Yield Bonds
  • Asian Credit Markets
  • Offshore Bond Markets
  • Bond Syndication and Distribution
  • Fixed Income Products
  • Structured Financing Solutions
• Proven track record of revenue generation and institutional client management.
• Established relationships with buy-side investors across Asia.
• Strong leadership and business development capabilities.
• SFC Type 1 Representative preferred.
