The Company

Our client is an established organisation within the financial services sector. They are looking for an IT Risk & Governance Analyst to join their Singapore technology team and support the organisation's technology risk, security governance, regulatory compliance and audit activities.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of IT, you will support the development and maintenance of the organisation's IT governance, risk and control framework. You will work closely with technology teams, business stakeholders, compliance, risk management, internal audit and external auditors to ensure technology risks are appropriately identified, assessed and managed.

• Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of IT governance, technology risk and information security policies, standards and procedures.
• Conduct IT risk assessments, control reviews and compliance assessments across technology systems, infrastructure and processes.
• Monitor compliance with internal technology policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate internal audits, external audits and regulatory reviews relating to technology risk and information security.
• Gather documentation and evidence required for audit and regulatory submissions.
• Track technology risk issues, audit findings and remediation actions to ensure timely closure.
• Support periodic reviews of IT general controls, access controls, change management, incident management and business continuity arrangements.
• Assist with third-party technology and information security risk assessments.
• Maintain technology risk registers, control documentation, governance reports and management dashboards.
• Support information security awareness and governance initiatives.
• Work with technology stakeholders to improve the organisation's overall control environment and risk management practices.

Your Profile

• Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Risk Management or a related discipline.
• Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in IT risk, technology governance, IT controls, IT audit, information security governance or technology compliance.
• Experience within banking, securities, asset management, insurance or another regulated financial services environment is preferred.
• Good understanding of IT general controls, technology risk management, information security governance and audit processes.
• Familiarity with regulatory technology risk requirements and industry control frameworks would be advantageous.
• Experience supporting internal audits, external audits, regulatory reviews or control-testing activities.
• Strong documentation, stakeholder-management and follow-up skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CISM or ISO 27001 would be advantageous but are not mandatory.
