Indirect Category Manager (6-Month FTC) | London | Hybrid
Salary: £70,000–£75,000 (pro rata)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Indirect Category Manager to join a highly respected organisation on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
You’ll play a key role in leading procurement activity across a broad range of indirect spend categories, partnering with stakeholders to develop category strategies, drive commercial value and deliver strategic sourcing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end sourcing and tendering activities across indirect spend categories.
• Develop and implement category strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts and deliver commercial value.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, supplier performance improvement and continuous value creation.
• Ensure procurement activity is delivered in line with organisational policies and best practice.
About You
• Proven experience in indirect procurement or category management.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience delivering end-to-end procurement projects.
• Commercially astute with excellent negotiation skills.
• MCIPS (or working towards) is desirable.
