Haggerty Jaques is delighted to be instructed to recruit a senior Commercial Litigation lawyer for this highly successful boutique employment and partnership law practice.

You'll be joining a firm that has a phenomenal reputation for advising on high profile and high value partnership disputes and employment matters.

Its lawyers are true leaders in their field and offer real expertise across a range of issues affecting professional partnerships.

The Opportunity

This role has become available due to continued growth and is open to senior lawyers up to Legal Director level (around 6 PQE upwards).

You can expect to be working on an exciting mix of contentious partnership and employment matters, from senior executive departures and team moves to boardroom disputes.

Much of the work the firm undertakes is of a highly sensitive nature and involves large companies/partnerships or individuals at a senior (often Board) level, with a desire on both sides for a quick and discreet resolution. The firm does a significant amount of work with partners in the professional services, insurance, and financial services sectors, including hedge funds, private equity, accountancy, and law firms.

There are partnership prospects for the successful candidate.

Your Experience

The emphasis here is on strong commercial litigation/contentious employment experience involving High Court claims.

Previous experience of advising on partnership disputes would be a bonus but is certainly not necessary. Knowledge of the financial services, professional services, and/or insurance industries would be useful but is again not essential.

The team works collaboratively and is looking for bright, astute and commercially-minded team players who have a passion for their work but are also fun to be around.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become a member of a team that works at the very forefront of the professional partnerships field and is known for advising on complex matters for sophisticated clients.

We would be keen to speak to lawyers who are currently based within a commutable distance of the City of London or who are contemplating a move from the regions.
