With a collaborative culture and a focus on people, performance, and continuous improvement, the organisation is seeking a Team Operations & Engagement Specialist to support operational excellence and team effectiveness across its Wealth Advisory division.
Your new role
As the Team Operations & Engagement Specialist, you will act as the key link between Managers, Advisors, Paraplanners, and senior leadership, ensuring the smooth operation of teams while fostering a positive and high-performing workplace culture.This role combines operational leadership, workflow management, team engagement and stakeholder support, making it ideal for someone with a wealth management or financial services background who enjoys driving outcomes through people and process improvement.Key responsibilities include:

Providing operational guidance and first-level support to team leaders on workflow and people-related matters

Acting as an escalation point for teams and working within a defined escalation framework

Building strong relationships across advisors, paraplanners, managers, and support staff

Supporting communication and collaboration between leadership and operational teams

Coordinating onboarding, engagement initiatives, team activities, and development programs

Assisting leaders with employee relations matters, performance conversations, and conflict resolution

Analysing, managing, and improving workflow processes to maximise efficiency and service delivery

Identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks and implementing sustainable process improvements

Leading and supporting divisional projects, change initiatives, and system enhancements

Preparing operational reports, team insights, and maintaining process documentation

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

Experience within wealth management, financial planning, or broader financial services

A genuine interest in people leadership, team engagement, and workplace culture

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Excellent problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach

The ability to influence and support stakeholders at varying levels

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

Highly regarded experience includes:

Understanding of financial planning workflows and advisory operations

HR-related qualifications or demonstrated People & Culture exposure

Project coordination or project management experience

Experience using Xplan or similar CRM and workflow management systems
