About the Role
The successful candidate will join an established tax team, working closely with experienced accountants and a diverse portfolio of individual clients, including high-net-worth individuals.
The role will involve managing personal taxation matters, developing client relationships and supporting the day-to-day operations of the team.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing and reviewing individual income tax returns and related taxation matters
• Managing relationships with an established portfolio of individual and high-net-worth clients
• Providing taxation advice and identifying opportunities to improve clients' financial positions
• Assisting clients with complex personal tax matters and transactions
• Building strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Supporting the training and mentoring of junior accountants
• Working collaboratively with senior team members to ensure high-quality client service

About You The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum 3+ years' experience within an Australian public practice accounting firm
• CA/CPA Qualification, or currently undertaking
• Experience working with a diverse portfolio of individual clients
• Exposure to high-net-worth individuals and complex tax matters highly regarded
• Confidence communicating directly with clients and building long-term relationships
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior accountants
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship management skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A proactive approach to identifying client needs and providing practical solutions
• A genuine interest in developing their career with clear pathways to partnership
