We are partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced IT Support Officer to deliver high-quality, customer-facing and deskside support to users. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys blending technical troubleshooting with exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
Your new role
You will provide hands-on IT support across end-user computing and learning environments, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, AV/video-conferencing equipment and standard software platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- General IT Support - Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests
- Multi-channel Support - Provide assistance via phone, email, service desk and in-person, escalating issues to operational teams where required.
- Service Delivery Processes - Follow agreed support frameworks to ensure efficient and effective delivery of IT services.
- Asset Management - Track and maintain all procured assets in the asset management system, ensuring compliance for audit purposes.
- Audio-Visual Support - Assist with maintaining in-venue AV equipment across the organisation
- Device Deployment - Deliver, configure and set up desktop and workstation computers
- Documentation - Create and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting steps, error logs and knowledge-based articles.
- Demonstrated experience working in a desktop support officer, customer-facing or field support roles
- Strong customer service capability with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Solid technical troubleshooting skills across end-user devices, AV equipment and standard software platforms.
- Experience supporting Windows environments, mobile devices and common enterprise applications.
- Ability to work independently, communicate clearly and manage competing priorities.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to team-wide improvement initiatives.
- Varied technical exposure - Gain experience across end-user computing, AV/Video conferencing, mobile devices etc.
- 12 month - long contract
