Join a well-established financial services organisation embarking on a complex regulatory transformation program. With a substantial change portfolio and a large delivery team, this organisation is investing heavily in improving customer onboarding, data governance, compliance, and operational processes.
Your new role
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering a major regulatory reform program, working across business, compliance, operations, data, and technology teams. You'll lead requirements gathering, facilitate workshops, assess regulatory impacts, drive process redesign activities, support data transformation initiatives, and contribute to complex remediation workstreams. The role offers exposure to onboarding transformation, single customer view initiatives, document management improvements, and emerging AI-driven capabilities. This is an initial 12-month contract based in Sydney CBD with a hybrid working arrangement.
What you'll need to succeed
You will bring 7+ years of Senior Business Analysis experience delivering complex AML, KYC, Financial Crime, Regulatory Change or Compliance transformation programs within banking, wealth management, private banking or financial services environments. You'll have a proven track record leading business analysis activities across large-scale transformation initiatives, facilitating senior stakeholder workshops and translating complex regulatory obligations into business processes, data requirements and technology solutions. Experience across AML remediation, customer onboarding, customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), client lifecycle management, financial crime compliance, data governance, data mapping, reporting and operating model improvements will be highly regarded. International exposure, particularly within Singapore, Hong Kong or other highly regulated financial services markets, will be advantageous.
