The Role
This role has arisen following an internal promotion and you will join a collaborative technology team working across a range of exciting projects, including greenfield initiatives. We're looking for a Test Analyst with a strong manual QA background to step into this hands-on role focused on manual testing, test analysis, ticket management and quality assurance. Exposure to automation tools such as Cypress or Playwright is beneficial.
Responsibilities:
- Design, execute and maintain manual test cases across web-based applications.
- Analyse business and technical requirements to develop effective test strategies.
- Manage testing activities, defects and workflows using Jira.
- Identify, document and track defects through to resolution.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts and stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded throughout delivery.
- Contribute to greenfield projects, helping establish best testing practices from the outset.
- Support and contribute to automation testing initiatives using tools such as Cypress or Playwright where appropriate.
- Assist in improving testing processes, documentation and overall QA capability.
Requirements:
- Strong background in manual software testing across web applications.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret business requirements and identify test scenarios.
- Experience using Jira
- Exposure to automation testing tools is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with a proactive, detail-oriented approach and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get into the technical detail.
