We are partnering with Lineage, the world's leading temperature-controlled logistics company, employing approximately 25,000 people globally and 400-450 employees in Denmark. Vejle is one of the company's key hubs and will be the central location for this role.
Following a period of growth and acquisitions, Lineage is now focusing on structure, optimization, and scalability across Europe. Payroll plays a critical role in this journey, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and strong employee experience.
You will step into a key role with full ownership of Danish payroll, contributing to the stability and ongoing development of the payroll function.
Aufgaben
As Senior Payroll Specialist, you will take full ownership of Danish payroll while working closely with Finance, HR, and international colleagues.
You will join a close-knit and collaborative finance team of 8 people, reporting to the Manager Financial Control Nordics, and work closely with stakeholders across Denmark, Norway, and Poland.
You will be responsible for:
• End-to-end payroll for approx. 400 employees (blue (warehouse workers) - and white-collar)
• Ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll delivery
• Maintaining employee data, contracts, pensions, and payroll adjustments
• Reporting to authorities (e-Indkomst, ATP, etc.) and supporting audits
• Handling payroll queries from employees and stakeholders
• Payroll accounting, reconciliations, and SOX-related documentation
• Driving process improvements and support standardization across the region
Systems & tools:
• LessorLøn (Payroll system)
• Workday (HR-system)
• Time & attendance systems and finance integrations
Profil
You are a hands-on payroll professional who thrives in a role with ownership and responsibility, and who is motivated by continuous professional development.
Your background includes:
• Solid experience with end-to-end Danish payroll
• Experience handling approx. 100-400 payslips monthly
• Strong system understanding - ideally LessorLøn
• Experience working with HR systems (e.g. Workday) is an advantage
• Knowledge of collective agreements is beneficial
• Fluency in Danish and English
As a person, you are:
• Structured, detail-oriented, and accountable
• Comfortable owning payroll independently
• Proactive and improvement-focused
• Collaborative across HR, Finance, and operations
• Motivated by responsibility and ongoing professional development
